The Last Morning Milking documents dairy farmers in Ireland, Sweden, Switzerland, New Zealand and Spain. As the younger generation leave the farm for more lucrative work in technology and business, many older farmers are faced with challenges of farm succession and transfer, and deciding whether to cease operation when they can no longer do the work themselves. This work was made possible with a year-long Thomas J. Watson Fellowship.
