BIOGRAPHY

I am a mom, storyteller, and documentary photographer living on the ancestral and unceded territory of the Abenaki people, now known as Central Vermont. My second home is Western Australia, where my husband Spencer hails from. While I love the sun-soaked Aussie life, motherhood led me back to Vermont to raise my family on the edge of the woods where it all started.

I’ve had the great pleasure of studying photography with exceptional teachers and institutions, including Neal Menschel at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine and DJ Clark at Pathshala South Asian Media Academy in Dhaka, Bangladesh. What resonates with me as a photographer is watching people cultivate a sense of curiosity and pride as they share their unique narratives and stories.

I love traveling, listening to podcasts, snowboarding, studying bulletin boards, playing hockey, having dance parties with my family and getting lost (and found) in the woods.

I think I’ve learned that even people who see the world differently from you, they love something.  And if we take the time to share what we love with one another, we can see each other’s humanity, and we can feel each other’s value.
